June 1st, 2007 CheffyThere are all sorts of things on the go at Cubana Tapas Bar at the moment, as they continue with their winning formula of lively music, Latin dance and great food. They start off the week with their Club Buenavista music nights on Mondays and Tuesdays and then on Friday is the Viva Salsa evening, with live music from renowned Latin DJs. You can even learn how to Salsa at the Cubana dance class on Saturday afternoons. In July, they are launching a new and improved menu too, so there will be plenty of great food to give you the energy to dance.
In the heart of the city, the Wig and Pen bar restaurant will soon be expanding into an adjacent property on Paradise Square, where they plan to extend the premises sympathetically, in keeping with the character of the square, whilst giving customers more space to enjoy a drink or a meal there.
There will soon be a new addition to the Ecclesall Road restaurant scene too, with the imminent opening of a cosy new bistro which will be offering an authentic Italian experience. The new owners are hoping to be open in just a few weeks time, so we’ll bring you opening news when we have it from them.
