Our exciting news this month is that we’ve introduced a fantastic new search function to the restaurant directory. Now, not only can you find details at the click of a mouse using our alphabetical directory, but you can also search through the directory of Sheffield restaurants to find somewhere to eat based on the type of food you prefer, the restaurant location or both. We hope you will find this useful and would be delighted to hear your feedback on this new service.
The list of restaurants that can now be booked on line is continuing to grow and we welcomed the Walnut Club at Hathersage on board recently. You can now quickly book yourself a table at the Walnut Club at any time of the day or night and as the system operates in real time, you will get your confirmation straight away, rather than having to wait for someone to get back to you.
The latest restaurant reviews include Bosworth’s @ Bramall Lane, where we once again enjoyed 2 for 1 dining by using our Hi-Life Diners Club card. Our meal was lovely, but you don’t have to take our word alone on this, as we also have a great reader review for Bosworth’s too. If you like casual Italian dining, check out the reader review of Buon Deli as this sounds like another cracking little place.
We popped in to have a coffee at Nonna’s recently and must say, as coffee goes theirs definitely gets top marks from us! Afterwards, a little mini tour gave us the chance to see first hand some of the lovely ingredients and products they have on offer both in the restaurant and at their adjacent deli. If you are stuck for a Christmas gift with a difference this year, it really might be worth calling in to have a look. We’d certainly be very happy if Santa bought us a selection of their gourmet Italian goodies!
The latest restaurant to open in Sheffield is Tivoli which has opened on London Road, having taken over the premises of the old Froggies Bistro. Tivoli is run by proprietor Bayram Tek and offers a range of mainly Italian dishes.
